Cardiovascular Societies Less Likely To Give Awards To Women
A review of awards given from 2000 to 2021 by U.S., Canadian, and European cardiovascular societies found 76.2 percent of winners were men. However, the study also showed improvement in the recognition of women during that time period, with females comprising only 7.7 percent of recipients in 2000, but rising to 31.2 percent in 2021.» Link to the original article
