Slow Progress in Closing Engineering/Computer Science Higher Education Gender Gap

The numbers are moving upwards, but very slowly. Over a 10 year period (2010 to 2020), female bachelor’s degree holders in engineering/computer science increased from 17.3% to 22.1%; women with master’s degrees went from 24.4% to 30.3%; and doctoral degrees for women went from 22% to 24.4%.
